Message from the Conference Chair
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 24th International Conference on Brain Tumor Research and Therapy (ICBTRT 2025), which will take place at The Windsor Hotel TOYA Resort in Hokkaido, Japan in June 2025.
ICBTRT is the most prestigious scientific conference that covers all aspects of brain tumor research, diagnosis, and therapy. Since the first conference was held in Asilomar, California, organized by Drs Charlie Wilson, Takao Hoshino and Victor Levin from UCSF in 1975, the conference is also known as "Asilomar Meeting". Ever since Asilomar, ICBTRT has been held biennially until now (please see the Asilomar Meeting Chronicle). The meeting provides the great opportunity for the top experts of brain tumor research to meet and discuss the latest development across diverse fields. Participation is only by invitation, and all participants are expected to make an oral presentation.
The Windsor Hotel TOYA Resort (https://www.windsor-hotels.co.jp/en/) is a 5-star hotel standing by the lake Toya, a vast volcanic caldera lake which is a part of the Shikotsu-Toya National Park. The conference venue with a spectacular view of the volcanic lake and surrounded by beautiful nature provides a secluded atmosphere that assures successful meeting and pleasant stay.
We look forward to welcoming you in Hokkaido!
